Queensland Rail’s existing Mayne Yard depot and key inner-city stabling facility at Bowen Hills has undergone an upgrade to support network growth and operations. Decmil, a long-term partner of Queensland Rail, engaged Allstar to deliver diverse works at the Mayne Yard as part of the Cross River Rail project – a critical public transport infrastructure project to transform travel across the whole of South East Queensland
OUR SCOPE:

Utility mapping: service location, non-destructive excavation, survey and condition assessments

Construction of a new sand distribution system

Demolition and construction of diesel bund structure

Install and commission new site offices, meeting rooms and amenities

Supply, install and commission sewage pump station

Install and commission DN150 PE sewerage pipeline and water pipeline

Install DN50 / DN100 PVC electrical conduits

Construction of new footpaths, kerbs, driveways and car park

Limited access due to above ground assets and existing infrastructure

Mass concrete pours up to 50m³+ to be completed within timeframe to ensure train schedule not disrupted
