KAWANA SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT K150 UPGRADE PROJECT

A key sewage treatment facility in Unitywater’s service area, this major upgrade has not only expanded the plant’s capacity but incorporates Unitywater’s first waste-to-energy facility. Allstar was engaged to provide mechanical, electrical and civil scope for the new plant that incorporates sewage treatment technology meaning the current site can accommodate a larger plant as it expands over the long term.
OUR SCOPE:

Installation and commissioning of structural pipe support, mechanical equipment, pipework, gantry crane rail and crane

Bulk earthworks and deep excavations

Installation of sheet piles, dewatering spear system, sheet pile and bracing shoring systems

Excavate, supply, install and backfill concrete precast electrical pits

Installation of electrical conduits, polythene (PE) and DICL pipe sewer and watermain/s (50mm up to 600mm dia.)

Construction of concrete structures including two (2) large pump station pits (8m W x 12m L x 4.5m H) slabs, footings, retaining walls, concrete footpaths and kerbs
